No Rambo the owner actually lives in this house. High Plains doesn't keep any animals, although Grand River has horses that we ride if we want. Despite the size of the house it is a very warm and inviting family lodge. When ever I visit they are only the most warm people, they love to entertain.

And its still for sale, 4 years later. But its called elk island ranch now.
@@randyhill1492 yes right, with covid-19 and the real lack of any close shopping the ranch is still on the market. The daily work by the dedicated ranch manager, and staff keep the lodge and all support buildings in pristine condition. As for the name I will always know it as High Plains Ranch.
